WCO is delighted to be returning to Devizes Corn Exchange on Sunday 5th December 2021, for our first concert together since 2019. Under the baton of conductor Philip Draisey, we will be performing a collection of music inspired by fairytales and the Winter season.

The orchestra has enjoyed a long awaited return to in-person rehearsals this term, thanks to the hard work of members organising risk assessments and other important measures to keep us playing.

We were thrilled to welcome a sell-out audience to our spring concert "Scenes from Scandinavia". The audience were treated to a programme of music from Sibelius and Grieg, featuring Grieg's piano concerto with soloist You-Chiung Lin giving a stunning performance.

Thanks to all who came and supported us in this wonderful evening of music. Apologies to those who tried to buy tickets after we had fully sold out Malmesbury Abbey. Tickets are now on sale for our summer concert - reserve your seats early!

Saturday 11th July saw the Corn Exchange in Devizes filled with a sprinkling of magic and just a touch of mystery. Witches, sharks and the shower scene from Psycho brough the audience to the edge of their seats - thank goodness for Mission: Impossible to break the tension! Thanks to everyone who came and supported us - see you in December.
