Guy handed his school cello back when he left the sixth form. Thankfully, he rediscovered the joy of playing a few years ago when his wife bought him a cello for his 40th birthday and he has been an ardent enthusiast ever since, playing with a number of local string ensembles and, more recently, the WCO.
In the past few years he has been a regular visitor to the Oxford Cello School and has written music for cello ensembles — one of which has even been performed!
Guy's other interests include Rugby which means he is able to combine musical and sporting interests when singing on the terraces at the Millennium Stadium!
