Even if you do not play an instrument, you can make a real contribution to supporting the WCO and promoting our music. Becoming a “Friend of the WCO” provides you with an opportunity to support us without becoming a playing member. In return for a minimum annual donation of £20, Friends receive the following benefits:
- Friends have access to a priority booking system for WCO-managed concerts, and can buy tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Friends may also reserve seats at WCO-managed concerts on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Friends enjoy a discounted ticket price for all WCO-managed concerts - currently £2 off all tickets (applies only to Friends - not friends of Friends!).
- Enjoy a free glass of wine and a free programme at all WCO-managed events.
- Friends receive up to 4 WCO Newsletters per year and also receive advanced notification of all events and workshops.
- Friends are invited to participate in any WCO social functions and any WCO-organized trips to other music events.
- Friends who wish to participate in WCO-organized workshops will be offered priority places, second only to full WCO members.
- Friends who donate £30 or more will be listed as “Patrons” in the programmes of WCO-managed events.
Your generous donation will go directly towards helping us achieve and maintain the highest standard of performance in all our concerts and other musical activities, and will play a vital role in helping secure our future as a vibrant and exciting amateur orchestra for the Chippenham and North Wilts area.
